Wiarton’s new Deep Water Gallery had its first opening reception, featuring the work of Constance Maconaghie and the late Paul Duff recently. The show was very successful with an attendance of 80+ people. The current show runs until Jan. 6 and has open hours Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

“The town is proud to support the new Deep Water Gallery,” said Mayor Janice Jackson. “We are committed to bringing new art and culture offerings to our community and this gallery provided a wonderful kick-off!”

The gallery is available for community events/meetings, and has been established to support the work of Bruce and Grey county artists. Those wishing to show their work may contact curator Anne Marie Hadcock via the Wiarton and District Chamber of Commerce.
